Do you want a new and exciting Nursery Apprentice role in the New Year?

If so we can help!! We are currently recruiting on behalf of an Outstanding Nursery setting in Sanderstead looking for a Nursery Apprentice to join their team.

The Nursery, based in Sanderstead, is open Monday to Friday from 07:00–18:30, 51 weeks of the year for children aged 3 months to 5 years old and has places for up to 75 children a day. The setting has large spacious age appropriate rooms with plenty of outdoor space for physical activities. The nursery is easily accessible by bus and train and is close to all local amenities in Sanderstead. Specialist teachers join the nursery to teach Zumba and Spanish lessons.

Salary & benefits include:

·         £5.00 an hour (national apprentice wage applies)

Your role will include:

·         Joining in with play and care routines for the children

·         Learning the role of a nursery practitioner and how the EYFS works

·         Following instructions of the team leader and learning from team members

·         Have key children and carry out observations

·         Following local and and nursery safeguarding policies and practices


All candidates must

·         Be able to work full time Monday - Friday

·         Be able to do shift work enabling time to do course work

·         Be willing to learn

·         Have good time keeping

·         Be punctual

·         Have lots of enthusiasm for childcare

·         Be willing to work hard and learn

·         Recognises the importance of working in a team

·         Have good written and spoken English

·         Apply safeguarding policies to their practices
