If so we can help!! We are currently recruiting on behalf of an Outstanding Nursery setting in Sanderstead looking for a permanent Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

The Nursery, based in Sanderstead, is open Monday to Friday from 07:00–18:30, 51 weeks of the year for children aged 3 months to 5 years old and has places for up to 75 children a day. The setting has large spacious age appropriate rooms and with plenty of outdoor space for physical activities. The nursery is easily accessible by bus or train and is close to all local amenities. Specialist teachers join the nursery to teach Zumba and Spanish lessons.

Your role will include:

·         Ability to use own initiative

·         Experience is preferred but not required, newly qualified level 3 nursery practitioners welcome

·         Ability work within a team and deliver outstanding childcare activities and care

·         To apply Safeguarding policies to their practice

·         To promote positive relationships in the early years setting with parents, children and colleagues

·         Promotion of health, safety and wellbeing of the children within the room

·         To monitor and improve the children’s development, learning and play within the room

·         Be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families

·         Create a fun, exciting environment and for the children to thrive within

·         Follow local nursery safeguarding policies and practices

All candidates must have:

·         A minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education or equivalent

·         The ability to work well in a team

·         Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted & Safeguarding

·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

·         Outstanding time keeping and attendance record

·         A positive & friendly nature
