Do you want a part-time position in this area?

If so we can help!! We are currently recruiting on behalf of an Outstanding Nursery setting in Sanderstead looking for a temporary SEN support worker to join their team to help support children with additional needs.

The Nursery, based in Sanderstead, is open Monday to Friday from 07:00–18:30, 51 weeks of the year for children aged 3 months to 5 years old and has places for up to 75 children a day. The setting has large spacious age-appropriate rooms and with plenty of outdoor space for physical activities. The nursery is easily accessible by bus and train and is close to all local Sanderstead amenities. Specialist teachers join the nursery to teach Zumba and Spanish lessons.

Salary & benefits include:

Your role will include:

·         Someone who has the ability to use their initiative

·         Experience is preferred but not desirable

·         Someone who can work within a team and deliver outstanding childcare activities and care

·         Promotion of health, safety and wellbeing of the children within the room

·         To monitor and improve the children’s development, learning and play within the room

·         Be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families

·         Create a fun, exciting environment and for the children to thrive within

·         Support SEN children to work towards educational plans and work alongside SENCO to ensure tasks are completed

 

All candidates must have:

·         A qualification in SENCO

·         The ability to work well in a team

·         Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted & Safeguarding

·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

·         Outstanding time keeping and attendance record

·         A positive & friendly nature
