Experienced Level 3 Nursery Nurse Needed in Purley

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Nursery in Purley looking for a permanent Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join their team in the Pre-Toddlers room.

This Purley Setting is open Monday to Friday from 07:30-18:30, for children aged 0 - 4 years and has places for up to 90 children. The nursery is situated in a bright and wonderfully spacious detached building with outside space.

The Nursery is very easily accessible by bus and train, and is within walking distance to the local Purley stations and amenities. The position is for an Experienced Level 3 Nursery Nurse and the ideal candidate would be motivated, talented and highly experienced with a wealth of childcare experience. You will also need to demonstrate how to build and develop strong relationships with the parents and staff and ensure all the Ofsted requirements are met throughout the setting.

Salary & benefits include:

·         £10.25 ph

·         07:30-18:30 - 5 days a week

Your role will include:

·         Achieving and maintaining the highest standards of care

·         Supporting the management of staff recruitment and retention

·         Working closely with all members of staff

·         Providing motivation, education and evaluation to all members of staff and pupils

·         Ensuring all the children reach their highest potential throughout their development

·         Building and maintaining good relationships with children and parents, attending parent and staff meetings

·         Implementing the EYFS curriculum, completing observations, planning and any additional paperwork for key children

·         Supporting children with additional needs and IEP’s

·         Working closely with outside agencies

·         Contributing and participating in the development of new ideas

·         Keeping up to date on all childcare issues

·         Ensuring that the ratios are maintained at all times

·         Maintaining accurate and up to date personnel records for all employees within the nursery


All candidates must have:

·         A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent

·         The ability to work well in a team

·         Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted & Safeguarding

·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

·         Outstanding time keeping and attendance record

·         A positive & friendly nature
