Nursery Nurse needed in Isleworth


We are currently recruiting on behalf of an ‘Outstanding’ nursery based in Isleworth who are currently looking for permanent Nursery Nurse to join their Pre-School Room.

The Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 18:00pm, 51 weeks per year. This 20 place setting operates across two floors with their ground floor designated to their over 2’s with age appropriate rooms that the children are able to free flow through and their first floor for the under 2’s. In addition to this they have a spacious age appropriate garden which is used by all the children throughout the day.

As a Nursery Nurse you be will required to work alongside members of staff in addition to being responsible for key children. This job will require you support in the running of the room to a high standard whilst supporting your team. As well as caring for the children and recording their development.

Your role will include:

  • ·         Ensuring all the children reach their highest potential throughout their development

  • ·         Providing high quality care for the children within the setting

  • ·         Building and maintaining good relationships with children and parents, attending parent and staff meetings

  • ·         Implementing the EYFS curriculum, completing observations, planning and any additional paperwork for your key children

  • ·         Supporting children with additional needs and IEP’s

  • ·         Assisting and supporting other staff within the room

  • ·         Discussing the children’s progress with their parents or guardians

  • ·         Following the nurseries policies and procedures throughout the setting

  • ·         Completing risk assessments within the room and the garden

  • ·         Ensuring the children have a safe and stimulating environment

  • ·         Attending parent and staff meeting

  • ·         Supporting children with additional needs and IEP’s


All candidates must have:

  • ·         A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent

  • ·         The ability to work well in a team

  • ·         Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted & Safeguarding

  • ·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • ·         Outstanding time keeping and attendance record

  • ·         A positive & friendly nature
