Do you want a new and exciting position in Norbury?

If so we can help!! We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Nursery setting in Norbury looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

The Nursery, based in Norbury, is open Monday to Friday from 07:30–18:30, 51 weeks of the year for children aged 3 months to 5 years old and has places for up to 19 children a day. The setting has large spacious age-appropriate rooms and with plenty of outdoor space for physical activities. The nursery is easily accessible by bus or train and is close to all local amenities.

Salary & benefits include:

·         £21,000

·         Alternate week shift patterns (7.30-4.30 or 9.30-6.30)

·         Would consider a job-share position

Your role will include:

·         Ability to use own initiative

·         Experience is preferred but not required, newly qualified Level 2 nursery practitioners welcome, with a view to studying for Level 3

·         Ability work within a team and deliver outstanding childcare activities and care

·         To apply Safeguarding policies to practice

·         To promote positive relationships in the early years setting with parents, children and colleagues

·         Promotion of health, safety and wellbeing of the children within the room

·         To monitor and improve the children’s development, learning and play within the room

·         Be a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families

·         Create a fun and exciting environment and for the children to thrive within

·         Follow local nursery safeguarding policies and practices


All candidates must have:

·         A minimum of an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education or equivalent

·         The ability to work well in a team

·         Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted & Safeguarding

·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

·         Outstanding time keeping and attendance record

·         A positive & friendly nature
