A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within a Nursery located in Hackney with great transport links from Clapton Overground Station. The Nursery was purposefully converted to the highest possible standard for the children’s needs.
The nursery is currently looking for an experienced Deputy Manager, 40 hours a week, with a salary which can be negotiable depending on experience. The nursery caters for 59 children aged birth – 5 years from 08:00 – 18:00, 48 weeks of the year. Your role and responsibilities will include working with the Manager within a room and office based role whilst leading a small team. Keeping practice within the room in line with the EYFS, to support and mentor other practitioners and to model the skills and behaviours that safeguard and support children.

All candidates must have:
- An NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
- At least 1 years relevant experience working within an Early Years setting
- Experience as a Deputy Manager
- Experience working with children aged 0 months – 5 Years
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- Great communication skills
