We are currently working with a nursery situated near Mile End who are currently looking for a Deputy Manager/Room Leader to join their team. Are you an experienced Room Leader looking for the next step? If so, then this is the role for you so get in touch!
The nursery is situated a short distance from Mile End Station, they are operational 52 weeks a year and are open Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00 offering places for up to 50 children per day aged 2 ½ to 4 years old. They operate from a large open plan setting, which is sectioned into various areas including construction, maths, role play and a cosy area. They ensure the children’s needs are put first ensuring the planning is based around their age and stage of development. They are also offering some remote learning for those children who are away from the nursery during Covid-19.
The setting is looking for someone who has previously led a team in some way, either as a Room Leader or as a Deputy Manager. The position is room based, so the ideal candidate will need to be child focused while supporting the Manager as and when needed. The role will be to work 40 hours per week, 5 days a week. They will also have a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent.

All candidates should have:
- A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare & Education or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum
- Previous experience of leading a team
- A passion for working within the Early Years
