Practitioners Experienced in Early Years needed near Fulham

StaffBank are recruiting on behalf of a nursery near Fulham to find enthusiastic and motivated nursery practitioners to join their dedicated, fun and friendly team. As well as a competitive salary of approximately £10 per hour, they have many other benefits including a uniform, 28 days holiday, company pension and much more.

This Nursery is looking for 2 Nursery Practitioners to join their team, qualified or unqualified and would be happy to support and encourage any training or apprenticeships.  The setting is operational for 51 weeks of the year and is open Monday to Friday, from 08:00-18:00 (working a 35 hour week) and caters for up to 36 children aged 3 months to 5 years.  The Nursery is situated in a single-storey building within their own extensive grounds with large spacious playrooms separated for babies, toddlers and pre-school children.  All food is healthy & nutritious, locally sourced, freshly prepared on site in our kitchen chef and served attractively.  The menus are seasonal and reflect a diversity of cultures, enhancing the children’s experience of the wider world. 

The Setting is easily accessible as it is only a short walk from fabulous transport links.  It has a home-from-home atmosphere which allows the children to excel in all areas of development.  They follow the EYFS curriculum and positive relationships between parents and staff are encouraged at all times to ensure they maintain a positive co-operative environment for the best interests of the children.

Your role will include:

  • Ensuring all the children reach their highest potential throughout their development
  • Providing high quality care for the children within the setting
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with children and parents
  • Implementing the EYFS curriculum
  • Providing exciting activities for all the children
  • Completing observations, planning and any additional paperwork for your key children
  • Assisting and supporting other staff within the setting  
  • Discussing the children’s progress with their parents or guardians
  • Following the Nursery policies and procedures throughout the setting
  • Completing risk assessments within the room and the garden
  • Ensuring the children have a safe and stimulating environment
  • Attending parent and staff meetings
  • Supporting children with additional needs and IEP’s
  • Preparing the children for the move to school
  • Strong emphasis on the 3 main areas of learning
  • Encourage the children’s writing

All candidates must have:

  • At least 2 years relevant experience within an Early Years setting
  • The ability to work within a large team
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS/Foundation Stage
  • Great communication skills
