A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within a Nursery located in Croydon with great transport links. The nursery is set in a large and spacious building decorated and furnished to the highest possible specifications, a short walk away from Croydon Town Centre and West Croydon transport links.
The nursery is currently looking for an experienced Level 3 Nursery Nurse, 40 hours a week, working with the 18 months – 2 and a half year olds, with a salary of £18,000 per annum. They cater for 106 children aged birth - 4 years from 07:30 – 18:30, 50 weeks of the year. Your role will include ensuring the safety and well-being of each and every individual child whilst helping them to achieve the best they can in all areas of their development.
The setting is a home from home purpose built environment which has been designed with the children in mind. They pride themselves on offering outstanding quality care and education to children as well as providing parents with peace of mind that their children are safe, secure and well cared for. The children are encouraged to investigate and explore, becoming confident and independent as they grow. They follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, providing a wide variety of fun educational activities carried out daily to help develop all aspects of the children’s development.

All candidates must have:
- An NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
- At least 1 years relevant experience working within an Early Years setting
- Experience as a Nursery Nurse
- Experience working with children aged 0 months – 5 Years
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- Great communication skills
