Nursery Nurses needed in Raynes Park

StaffBank are recruiting on behalf of a lovely nursery in Raynes Park to find enthusiastic and motivated nursery practitioners to join their fun and friendly team.  As well as a competitive salary they have other benefits including a Company Pension, 21 days holiday and additional training when required.

This established nursery situated in Raynes Park is looking for two full time Nursery Nurses and one part time Nursery Nurse to join their expanding team. The nursery is operational 51 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday 07:45 – 18:00 and caters for up to 30 children per day.

The nursery is set over three floors to ensure that children play and learn with children of their own age in separate rooms to enable them to learn and develop at their own pace. They also have a spacious garden for the children to play in.

The two full time candidates will be working Monday to Friday 07:30 – 17:00, one will be with the 2 – 3 year olds and the other with the 1 – 2 year olds. You must ensure the children have the ability to learn and develop throughout your care.

All candidates must have

  • A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
  • At least 1 years experience working within an Early Years setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Good communication skills


Your role will be

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and parents/carers
  • Having key children within the room and ensuring their progress is monitored
  • Completing planning and observations for all your key children to enhance their learning and development
  • Using the EYFS curriculum to monitor the children’s progress and provide realistic next steps
  • Providing fun and exciting activities each day
  • Following all the nurseries policies and procedures
  • Maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the nursery
  • Understanding the children’s individual needs and dietary requirements
  • Ensuring the environment is safe and secure at all times
  • Working alongside other staff to ensure the children learn and develop throughout
  • Participating in staff and parents meetings as and when required
  • Communicating with the other staff in the setting regarding the planning and children’s next steps
  • Carrying out necessary risk assessments
