Nursery situated in Croydon are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join their team.
The setting has been operational for three years and caters to 73 children aged from 3 months to 5 years. The nursery opens on a daily basis, five days a week and operates from 7:30 to 18:30 Monday-Friday all year round except the Christmas week. The majority of the setting is based in 4 spacious rooms, where the children do all their various activities, and the outside area offers assortments of facilities to support the children’s development.
Your responsibilities within this job role will be based in the Baby Room. The role is very varied and has a lot of importance; you will be assigned your own key children and have to plan and carry out observations. With activities to help promote their personal, social, intellectual and emotional development, acknowledging the aspect a safe and secure environment within the early years setting. Helping with meal times, bottles feeds and keeping a clean and safe environment.
The successful candidate will need to have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education
- Minimum of 1 years childcare experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to gain positive relationships with staff and parents/carers of the children.
- A desire to learn more and gain new qualifications and training.
