This outstanding nursery situated in Finchley is looking for a Nursery Nurse to join the team. Starting salary £20,000. The nursery is operational all year round Monday-Friday, 07:45 – 18:15. The setting is open for 50 weeks of the year and caters for 76 children from ages 3 months to 5 years.
This Nursery is split into 5 rooms according to the ages and stages of development and there is a Baby room for 3 months to 16 months which supports babies with the early stages of development it also has a separate sleep room. The Toddler room is for children 16 months to 24 months the children are supported with the early stages of independence exploring the environment around them. There are 2 older Toddler rooms for children 2-3 years children are building on their social skills. The Pre-School room is for children 3-5 years, they have a more structured routine and being prepared for school. There is a large outdoor garden where children are able to have free play and explore the environment there is a play structure, sand pit and a range of physical equipment, Children are also taken on regular outings in the local community.
Your role will be working with all ages of children working in line with the EYFS & Statutory requirements, you will be a keyworker for a group of children ensuring that children’s development is monitored and recorded through the EYFS curriculum. You will need to be able to work within a team building positive relationships with children. Your role will be to have positive partnerships with parents

All candidates must have:
- An NVQ Level 3 or above in Childcare and Education or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS & statutory requirements
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Experience of working in accordance with Ofsted
- Excellent partnership with parents
