Are you an experienced Nursery Nurse? Do you have experience working within a Baby Room and are looking for a new role? We are currently recruiting for a nursery based in Dulwich, they are looking for 2x Level 3 Nursery Nurses to join for their team.


Position: Nursery Nurse - Level 3                            


Salary: £18-21,000 per annum                                   


Hours: Permanent, 5 days a week           


This Ofsted rated “Good” nursery in Dulwich is operational 50 weeks of the year, between 07:30 – 18:30. They have the facilities to take up to 90 children a day and are looking for two experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Nurses to join their team. You will need to have experience working within a Baby Room with children aged 3 months – 2 years old and Toddlers aged 2 -4 years old and be available to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Your role will include:

  • Providing high quality care for all the children within the setting
  • Ensuring all the children reach their highest potential throughout their time at the nursery
  • Building excellent relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Providing exciting and educational activities to support the children’s learning
  • Using the EYFS curriculum to plan activities based on their current stages of development and next steps
  • Supporting Pre-School children in their preparation for school
  • Carrying out regular observations and reports on key children
  • Communicating with parents on a daily basis to discuss their children’s day and development
  • Carrying out risk assessments throughout the room and garden when needed
  • Supporting the other staff within the setting and sharing ideas
  • Being involved in parent and staff meetings on a regular basis
  • Following the nurseries policies and procedures throughout the setting
  • Being aware of Health and Safety within the nursery
  • Ensuring the children have a safe and stimulating environment
  • Supporting children with additional needs and IEP’s

All candidates must have:

  • An NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent
  • At least 1 years relevant experience within an Early Years setting
  • Previous experience working with children aged 3 months – 4 years
  • The ability work within a small and large team
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Great communication skills
